Participatory and Integrated Slum Upgrading in Abu Helal

Description

The overall objective of the intervention in El Minya City was to improve the quality of life of slum dwellers in Abou Helal through strengthening the capacities of local institutional and key stakeholders to undertake comprehensive slum improvement using a participatory approach.

The specific objective of the consultancy assignment was to collect information and prepare feasibility studies to be followed by small scale demonstration project for slum upgrading in El-Minya City based on a set of implementation activities.
