Technical Secondary Schools (TSS)
Description
The execution of this Training Project is based on a related Cooperation Agreement between InWEnt and the Holding Company for Water and Wastewater (HCWW) of March 2010.
The main aim of the Training Project is to qualify selected trainers / staff of the HCWW and its affiliated water companies as well as Technical Secondary Schools (TSS) in the following fields:
- Development of Competence Standards in the Water and Wastewater Sector
- Methodology for the Development of Training Modules and Curricula
- Methodological / Didactical Qualification of TSS Teaching Staff
- Qualification on In-Plant Instructors / Multipliers in the Water Companies
The project includes three coaching components; two presence coaching and one online coaching to follow up and keep guiding the trainees to the highest quality level of implementation for the skills and knowledge they have acquired in the training sessions. It includes a consultancy workshop and TA support in organizational and institutional setup for the training sector.
Outputs
- To have qualified staff to establish a qualifications / competence matrix which shall serve as a basis for the career path development at
skilled worker and technician level and at the same time to determine training needs and the corresponding initial and upgrade training - To have qualified staff to transform the identified competence standards, which are structured according to the logic of the world of
work, into training modules and curricula which correspond to the logic of learning - To have qualified teaching staff in the TSS to assist learners in the development of the necessary competences (technical, social, human)
- To have qualified in-plant instructors to assist learners in learning-by-doing in real work situations
Services
Developing of Competence Standards in water and Wastewater Sector
- Developing the training materials, cases and training workshop activities for two groups of trainees
- Conducting the training workshops
- Select the next phase trainees based on an extensive exam results
- Identifying a TNA assignment for the trainees to be conducted within six weeks after the training workshop
- Conducting two presence coaching workshops to follow up the outputs of the training package (TNA assignment)
Methodology for the Development of Training Modules and Curricula
- Developing the training materials, cases and training workshop activities for two groups of trainees
- Conducting the training workshops
- Conducting a final exam for the trainees to close this block of the training (TK-1 and TK-2)
- Identifying a Curricula Development assignment for the trainees to be conducted within six weeks after the training workshop
- Conducting two presence coaching workshops to follow up the outputs of the training package (Curricula Development assignment)
Methodological /Didactical Qualification of TSS Teaching Staff
- Developing the selection criteria for the trainees
- Developing the training materials, cases and training workshop activities
- Conducting the training workshops
