External Evaluation of Literacy & Basic Education Project

Description

The project Literacy & Basic Education started and was executed in six governorates in Egypt by Caritas Egypt from July 1998 until December 2001. Over that period the project was supported by The Catholic Aids/Caritas France (Secours Catholique). Yet Caritas France is committed to the EU to evaluate the impact of that project over the last 3 years. For which NSCE was granted the evaluation as an external consultancy firm. The project overall objective is to promote the socio-economic living condition of the Egyptian women and men in poor areas.

Services

• Develop an evaluation plan in cooperation with caritas Egypt
• Revision of existing literature (Literature Review)
• Preparation of interview guides for focus group discussions
• Preparation of focus group discussion report and executive summery for discussion with Caritas Egypt.
• Review the results of the statistical data analysis.
• Write up of the findings in a comprehensive report according to client’s requirements detailed in ToR
• Evaluation for Integrated project for basic education in Egypt (CARITAS)
