Child Protection in Urban Cities
Description
The MENA Child Protection Initiative (CPI) Program hosted at the Arab Urban Development Institute is preparing reviews of the status of urban children in ten MENA cities, outlining the key institutions responsible for addressing children’s issues and assessing their capacity. The purpose of these reviews is to prepare a phased capacity building exercise in selected institutions (including the governor and municipal offices), in order to address children issues in urban and peri-urban settings with reference to child protection of vulnerable and disadvantaged children.
