Productive Family Project (PFP)

Training Portfolio on Financial Management & Micro Credit Finance Management

Description

The government had recognized the need of the poor for micro credit. In 1964, it established through the Ministry of Social Affairs a scheme for social assistance called the Productive Families Programme (PFP). It is a mixed training/loan/contract production and marketing system. This is a socially oriented national project.

Within the Productive Family Project (PFP) framework NSCE has developed a training portfolio on financial management and micro credit finance management to strengthen the managerial and technical skills of the governmental staff at national, governorate and district level. The PFP is a National Micro Credit Finance Programme which provides credit & non-financial services to low-income groups through governorate & district training programs on how to start up an income-generating activity and/or a micro enterprise.
