North South Consultants Exchange (NSCE) actively contributed to 5th Plenary Meeting of TRUSTyFOOD held at the CERTH premises in Thessaloniki, Greece, on October 23-24, 2024.

This pivotal event aimed to shape the roadmap for transformative advancements in the agri-food sector using blockchain technology.

Besides reviewing the project’s progress and identifying crucial areas for continued growth, the Plenary Meeting offered research insights with presentations on primary and secondary findings, fuelling the backbone of our transformative R&I Roadmap with a focus on blockchain.

Collaborative brainstorming was taken as the approach to craft the headlines for a shared, actionable roadmap that ensures a clear and focused path to success.

Policy alignment was also a key agenda point for the meeting. The team discussed policy briefs to ensure TRUSTyFOOD aligns with the latest European Commission priorities.

Planning the sustainability of our framework of services was considered an integral part of ensuring long-term impact which entailed the preparation as well of our Final Conference and other exciting dissemination activities ahead. Stakeholders’ consensus building, the development and implementation of the global outreach strategy and plan, communication, visibility and dissemination activities represent key contributions of NSCE as defined in our working package for the project.

The 5th Plenary Meeting highlighted the power of collaboration and consensus-building to drive innovation and sustainability in the agri-food sector and is representative of our journey towards transparent, sustainable and innovative food systems.
