National Drainage Program Phase 3 in the framework of the Joint Integrated Sector Approach (NDPIII–JISA)

The National Drainage Programme 3 and the Joint Integrated Sector Approach (NDP3/JISA) is this year again represented at the Cairo Water Week (CWW) 2026 after its successful contribution to the event the year before and NSCE is organizing its technical conference session!

About the technical conference session

This session, convened by the Egyptian Public Authority for Drainage Projects (EPADP), highlights the National Drainage Program Phase 3 in the framework of the Joint Integrated Sector Approach (NDPIII–JISA). Building on NDP3’s participation in Cairo Water Week 2025, it presents the program’s achievements, ongoing activities, technical developments and plans through four technical and knowledge-sharing presentations:

• SSD and SD Contracts: Progress and Outlook – procurement achievements, contract implementation, construction progress, challenges, lessons learned and the outlook for completing the remaining works.
• NDP3 Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) System: Installation and Functionality – system installation and upgrading, data management, performance and indicator reporting, system migration, training and cybersecurity enhancements.
• Subsurface Drainage Design Program: Customization, Development and Functionality – software customization, GIS integration, field data collection, automated design, technical drawings, quantity calculations, mapping and EPADP staff training.
• EPADP Pipe Factories: Status, Delivery, Installation and Operation of the New HDPE Production Line – modernization of the pipe factories, commissioning of the HDPE production lines, testing equipment, operational readiness, quality assurance and expected production capacity improvements.
