Food Security
To achieve zero hunger, NSCE aims to strengthen resilience for food security and nutrition mainly in its capacity as Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning consulting company. By these means, NSCE contributes to knowledge production on the World Food Security (CFS)-endorsed Framework for Action for Food Security and Nutrition in Protracted Crises (CFS-FFA) and other tools and best practices to achieve the sustainable development goal (SDG) 1. We look at how different elements of food systems such as nutrition, food, health, livelihoods, community development, and agriculture are connected to the potential for resilience of the most affected vulnerable populations. Exemplary of NSCE’s portfolio in Food Security are three Long Term Agreements (LTA) with the World Food Programme.
