Migration
North Africa is known for its mixed migration flows as departure, transit, and destination countries for migration. With decades of operating in this region, NSCE engages in the programmatic areas of right-based migration governance systems and access to finance (A2F) for forcibly displaced persons (FDPs), migrants, and refugees. Capacity building of Global South countries through a whole-of-government and whole-of-society approach is not merely interventive or responsive to illegal migration in terms of combatting trafficking in persons (TiP) for example but allows for preventive actions by promoting legal migration pathways. NSCE furthermore produces evidence-based knowledge products to advance knowledge-based migration management.
