Water, Sanitation & Waste
“Water as leverage is all about resilience. As citizens we will feel the impact of climate change. If we want to have liveable cities, we have to leverage water through engaging communities.” NSCE’s track record in the Water Sector dates back to its founding year in 1988. Reviewing the Integrated Water Resources Management paradigm at the policy level is a key research area of NSCE to advance water use efficiency and water-saving practices. As for water-, sanitation- and waste-related infrastructure projects, NSCE is your consultant for stakeholder engagement, community mobilisation, Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), visibility and communication. NSCE is also your go-to for capacity building and training (including Training Needs Assessment (TNA) and Training of Trainers (ToT)) on Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA), Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMP), Procurement, Contract and Financial Management, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Systems, Management Information Systems (MIS), Organisational Development (OD) as well as Institutional Development). In addition, NSCE has a track record in gender mainstreaming water- and sanitation- related infrastructure projects through sector-specific capacity building.
